CANADA 1953-60 Queen Elizabeth II - 6 Album pages. A collection of early definitive stamps from the early Elizabethan years and various commemoratives during the 1950's & 1960 Page 1 - Three commemoratives of Canadian Natural Wildlife Week, full set of the first 5 definitive issue and a Coronation stamp. Page 2 - Five definitives over-printed with 'G' . Page 3 - A Textile |Industry commemorative, a full set of 6 of a new definitive issue plus 2 of the 3 coil (machine issue) stamps and the 1954 Canadian Wildlife Week commemorative set. Page 4 - Two further Canadian Wildlife Week stamps for 1955 + 2 more for 1956, 3 anniversaries from 1955 and 4 more from 1956. Page 5 - 1957 commemoratives including Outdoor Recreation, UPU Congress, National Wildlife Week, the Mining Industry and a Royal Visit; 1958 commemoratives for The Press, International Geophysical Year and Anniversaries for British Columbia & Quebec. Page 6 - three commemoratives from 1958, six for 1959 including The Opening of St Lawrence Seaway and a Royal Visit and two commemoratives from 1960. All mounted in Hawid mounts and all used. All displayed on pages from an illustrated album - see photo. I am selling a stamp collection that I started in my youth and which my father took over during his retirement. We always concentrated on Great Britain plus Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man, Ireland and the major Commonwealth countries of Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The great majority of stamps are pages from albums, are within Hawid mounts and are in date and issue order, based upon Stanley Gibbons catalogues.
