Description
Civil War token, 233/312 a, patriotic type, copper, R-1. The obverse shows the Capitol Building in the center, with "UNITED STATES" above it, and date, 1863, at the bottom below it, with three stars on each side. The reverse shows an open top wreath, with crossed swords and ribbons at the bottom center. Inside the wreath is "ARMY & NAVY". Both sides are a medium to dark brown, with a little lighter color around the edges of the lettering and design features.
