Description
This 1966 UK stereo album from L'Oiseau-Lyre (SOL 290) features performances of two works from Johann Nepomuk Hummel: a septet and a quintet. They are performed by The Melos Ensemble of London. Album notes are in English, written by Ian D. Bent. The outer sleeve shows a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back (Photo 2). There is also a small crease near the upper left corner of the back. Also included is a photocopy of the original album review from the May 1966 issue of The Gramophone. This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of classical LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear. NOTES: Album sleeves may have a small index sticker, usually in the upper right corner of the back, which was applied when the album was first purchased for this private collection.
