This 1966 stereo album from Angel Records (S 36332) features performances of several works by Henry Purcell, with a focus on the theater, including The Fairy Queen, The Indian Queen, King Arthur, and more. They are performed by the Bath Festival Orchestra as conducted by Yehudi Menuhin as well as by Joan Carlyle (soprano). Album notes are in English by N. D. Boyling. The outer sleeve shows a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back (Photo 2).
