Description
This 1974 UK stereo album from L'Oiseau-Lyre's Florilegium Series (DSLO 501) features performances of two works from Johann Nepomuk Hummel and Bernhard Henrik Crusell. The release focuses on two clarinet quartets. They are performed by The Music Party. The insert with album notes is included, as well as a double-sided photocopy of the original album review from the November 1974 issue of The Gramophone. The sleeve has a cutout at the lower right corner. This cut goes through both outer and inner sleeves as well as the insert, but the record is untouched. The outer sleeve shows a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back (Photo 2). This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of classical LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear. NOTES: Album sleeves may have a small index sticker, usually in the upper right corner of the back, which was applied when the album was first purchased for this private collection.
