This is a rare single page advertising card (flyer) promoting the one-week, Post-London Tour engagement of the NOEL COWARD play "DESIGN FOR LIVING" at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool, England beginning November 20th, 1939. (The Original Broadway production opened January 24th, 1933 at New York's Ethel Barrymore Theatre and ran for 135 performances. The Original West End production opened January 25th, 1939 at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket in London and ran for 203 performances before going on the road.) ..... The play starred DIANA WYNYARD, REX HARRISON and ANTON WALBROOK and featured ALAN WEBB, ELLA MILN, DOROTHY LANE, CYRIL WHEELER, CATHLEEN CORDELL and ROSS LANDON ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a small black ink mark on the left side of the front panel and moderate edge wear, this rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
