Vtg 1930’s Johnson Bros. England Square 7.5” Salad Plates Set 6 Colors. They each have a unique design. Each color features a different coordinating fruit centerpiece. These plates feature the classic Johnson Brothers back stamp used in the late 1930’s and early 1940’s. Set of 6 vintage 1930’s Johnson Brothers England square 7.5” salad plates with 6 different pastel border colors- Aqua/ turquoise, pink/ peach, sunny yellow, soft green, pale blue and cream/ tan. They each have a unique design. Each color features a different coordinating fruit centerpiece. These plates feature the classic Johnson Brothers back stamp used in the late 1930’s and early 1940’s. They are a stunning example of English Ironstone from the pre- WWII era. The crown logo on the back confirms their age. Near mint condition. No crazing or cracks. Each plate has a bright, well defined fruit motif. The yellow plate has a few surface scratches and the pink plate has a small chip under the rim but it is barely noticeable. Overall these plates are in excellent condition considering their age. See photos.
